The book I have that gives instructions on the 3D blocks is: One-Block Wonders encore! by Maxine Rosenthal & Joy Pelzmann. My daughter gave it to me as a gift so I don't know where she bought it but I would think you could find it at a quilt shop or JoAnn's, etc. Maybe you can google it or look on eBay or amazon.
