This is my first time to look at the blogs and just stumbled or bumbled my way to this blog. Wow, I did not know that the sewing machine I inherited from my aunt might be desired by folks. It is a treadle Singer in its original cabinet. A local sewing machine repairer said to bring it in and he would clean it up and put a new belt on it. Think I will take it in. Don't know how old it is, but it was already well used back when she made me baby clothes in 1946. I am going to go in the sewing room and check it out a little closer.
