thank you all for your kind comments. My parrot is Alfie, a blue fronted Amazon, and he is quite the character. We got him when he was one week old and I took him to work with me to feed him every four hours. He is now my husband's bird, only likes me in the evenings when I sing with him, ungrateful! The little zebra finch in the small cage didn't show up. He is hand tamed, also. We've only had him a couple of weeks. We got both of them from my sister who does bird rescue. We sure enjoy them both.
