We used to give the dogs brewer's yeast (when I had dogs) 2 large Rotties who ran freely out in the country in grass that was not treated for bugs, so I would assume had lots of fleas. Neither dog ever had ANY fleas..not a one! They had a little gas, but nothing outrageous. Don't know what it would do to a human though!!
