As Eddie has stated above I feel exactly the same - to be honest it brought a tear to my eye reading your thread.
I can't understand how some people have no value whatsoever for all the love & thought that goes into making something so wonderful regardless of what the item is.
Makes me think now just who I am giving my quilts to - ummm.
