As for me, all this copyright talk has soured my thoughts on what I will or won't do with what I create from whatever fabrics I spent hard-earned dollars on, not to mention all the hours it takes to make those creations. I know who I personally would side with, but I won't give that opinion. The more and more that I read it is easy to sway your thinking one way or the other. I happened to just read this morning the links from oregonpatchworks.com at the very bottom of their home page, regarding copyrights. Takes you to the most recent legalities of all this. I prefer this over all the ranting on select links. Also like many, I prefer basic and simple do's and don'ts and whys instead of all the complaining and ranting. Total turnoff and waste of my time. I am not referring to any comments made on this board.
Thank goodness we are allowed to agree or disagree. It is our choice to purchase the fabrics or not and to peruse online sites that teach us how they do things regarding quilting.
