Try making them out of paper. Sew it just like fabric. Can really help point out where the problems are!

When starting a new pattern and making tests blocks, how many test blocks do you make before calling it quits? I'm on #5! They're not perfect, but they're soooo cute I keep trying. Pretty soon I'm going to have a cute quilt with lots of errors.
