Now, that looks like the ones I make. Easy as pie (actually easier). Bright and cheerful. I've also made one side of the block dark and the other light. Wh en I sew the blocks together, they make light streaks diagonally across the quilt.
Oooooooh... that's a good idea. You could kind of treat them like Log Cabin or Drunkard's Path blocks. That's really using your noodle!
