Kniffles
Has anyone here heard of kniffles? They are similar to a dumpling.
When I was a teenager my best friend's mother made these.
We would watch her make them, but of course, being teenagers we didn't pay any attention to the recipe.
Her mother passed away a few years after that and no one has ever found a recipe.
Probably she was taught by her mother and had not written it down.
Thirty years later I still get hungry for kniffles and have never found anyone else who has heard of them.
If anyone knows of these I would be so greatful for a recipe.
