My thrift stores never seem to have machines. What I do find is clothing made out of cotton batiks and Bali's. I will buy these, cut them up and use in quilts. Much cheaper than buying by the yard.
especially on the clearance rack ... for either half price or, if I'm lucky, marked down to $.50 or $.25!!! love those fabrics!!!
