My mom, AZTeri has been quilting off an on for a long time, and just got both me and my son into quilting. I finished my first quilt, my own design, in pretty good time, doing most of the sewing either late at night, or on my days off. My son has his first one started, though he isn't in town right now, but when he gets back, he is excited to finish it. He won't even let my mom do any of it for him.
Here's a picture of my first, I'm about half done with the top of the second, which is taking less time, relatively (the first was a coffee table runner, second is a small bed quilt).
