Tell DH you could get more completed if you had a long-arm (or at least a mid-arm). Then he could learn to do that part and you'd have more time to do the flimies. LOL

I have probably a dozen tops done but can't do the quilting on my machine nor can I afford to send out to a long-armer. So anything new I've been making have been quilt-as-you-go and am getting more completed. But I still have that dozen with no completion dates in sight.

I'm hoping to buy a Tin Lizzie 18 in the next couple of years. They run around $6000 which is more affordable than some of the high-end long-arms. I'd love to buy a Babylock Jewel (so I could have local support) but they run around $10K.
