I folded it until I liked the width of each scallop and cut the scalloped edge. Then I ironed the paper to my quilt, one side at a time and marked it with wash out marker. I haven't cut my bias border yet and am trying to decide what width to cut it. Do you use a single layer binding or a double layer?
I cut my bias binding 1 1/2 inches wide---pressed in half and sewed it on--folded it over the back and hand stitched...in one of the web sites I found it said that was a perfect width of binding because if it is too wide it is very hard to do the scallops and have it be smooth on the inside corners....
