Maple leaf is finished and washed. Couldn't sleep so made a cup of herbal tea and washed the leaf. Used some dish soap and vinegar in a glass bowl with warm water, after going at it with a white eraser which worked quite well. Then used a stainremover stick and pencil is gone. Probably 99% but I'm not going to push my luck. I need to check the size required. If the Aida is a bit small I will do narrow white and red borders. Maybe even if it isn't too small.

It's drying between the folds of a towel right now and I'll iron it a bit later, while it is still slightly damp. Then, on to cutting some of the actual quilt blocks.
