I so understand where you are coming from. This has happened to me a few times. I get so far with a quilt and then my inspiration leaves me and I can't finish it. But like some of the gals said, if you did applique on it and made the blocks just the background or used sashing, it might help. I shouldn't talk tho, I still have those nasty blocks stuck away never to be touched again (expect maybe to move them to a new further away spot).
