LP Sharp does not resharpen your blades and return them to you. They send you brand new replacement blades for really cheap (for instance 45mm Olfa for $3, no shipping charge). I do not know what they do with your dull blades but I do know they send you brand new replacements. I know because I have used them and have received my new replacement blades in their original unopened packages. I love using them because not only do I get replacement blades for a really good price but I am able to recycle the used ones instead of throwing them away.
