YukViv ... thanks for the link. I've already passed it on to a friend who recently mentioned an interest in native type fabrics.

W4Me ... I have to tell you ... Yesterday I saw an article in a magazine, titled 64 Quilts in a Day or something similar. I read on, thinking it was going to be a story of a group who had gathered to make some charity quilts or such. I soon discovered that the write had spent the year doing four sets of sampler quilt blocks ... each in a different colourway and theme/style. She had great plans they'd be done for Christmas, yet when she started laying out each set of the blocks, she hated them all. Not one of the sets got her excited! Then her DH suggested that they looked like potholders .... and so, she finished them all off as individual pot holders!!!! And how disappointing to go to all that work, and not be happy with the results. Now there's a LOT of potholders ...... lifetime supply? (I think she gave them as Christmas gifts!)
