QuiltE - are you trying to tell me I've been pushing the potholders too hard?
They just seem like the perfect small project with which to entice people who are hesitant about joining our fun.
I'm thinking of trying to finish my centre block this weekend, despite not finishing the other quilt yet. The reason I'm thinking of finishing is because it will be hard. The way I've changed the design, the cross stitch maple leaf is straight but there are half square triangle borders attached to the sides so the block ends up on point like the rest of the blocks. I have never had to calculate half square triangles before so it will be a challenge. At this point, I don't even know the size of my leaf square nor the finished size of the block. How's that for a test?
