Glad y'all like it so much. We picked up some lights on Sunday and mounted them under the cabinets.
I did my first sewing in it tonight, what a joy. I finished my sister's signature quilt from her wedding last summer. Something marked off the to do list! Yay!
That big window looks out over the front. There are big trees and squirrels. Part of the room design process was ensuring we could get to it to open it and the blinds.
It's funny all the positive comments on the wall color. It looks a little orange in the pictures, but it is actually an Americana red. It was painted when we moved in. The entire downstairs was painted really dark (i.e. hunter green in the LR). After using SO MANY coats of paint in the rest of the house, I think we have changed our minds and decided
we like it just fine too!
