Does anyone know the difference in these two machines? The 8050 is on sale at Hancock's for $270.00 and the 2010 is at an authorized dealer for $450.00 (in my area). They seem very similar except for a couple of features. I guess my questions is, would you rather pay more from a dealer and get great service, or from a chain store and pay less with no service available? It seems like in my research, that's what it comes down to. Any feedback you could give me would be great.
Did you ever get one? I got the Janome 8050 last week and from what I can already tell I LOVE IT! I got it at Hancocks as well fr $270 I replaced my old Brother CS6000 and so far it's like a dream machine! The results looks so professional I dont even know how I was using the brother... I will have much better projects now! The Janome sews like a dream you can't go wrong
