Test drive before you buy, if you do, and also bring along some SM oil because they drink lots if they're dry. I gave away a BU Nova to an Army buddy of mine and he absolutely loves it - the zigzag on that one put any Singer to shame. Tehy do take Singer 15 bobbins but thread a bit differently. If you get this, jopin the Necchi Yahoo group because they have files there with manuals for those machines made in Italy. I hope this helps.
