Many years ago I broke my ankle and was bed ridden for about 2 months....so my dear friend from work called me and said " You better watch what you eat cuz you're just going to get FATTER!!!!! Mind you he wasn't being rude, we always had weight discussions. So I decided that since I couldn't move I had to have alot less calories so I had a slim fast for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch, turkey usually, and a very small portion for dinner, just whatever my MIL made I ate. If she had desseert I'd allow about a two bites of it. I never felt deprived and I lost about 10 lbs. It was not hard just made a decision and stuck with it.
