Think about it ... a pound is a pound is a pound .... one pound = 16 oz.

Fat, muscle, lead, feathers, whatever .... one pound of each is still one pound!!!!!!!!

The only difference is that some of those pounds take up more space, and some less.
just to add on to this statement: People are aways getting density and weight mixed up. Muscle is more dense so it takes up less space here's a link to a photo of muscle vs fat: http://www.onemorebite-weightloss.co...t-v-muscle.jpg

For me those magic weight loss pills like hydroxycut make me feel weird, it raises my blood pressure and makes me nauseous and my migraines get worse. My problem is I don't eat for hunger, I eat for emotional reasons so most of the time those pills don't work for me anyway. 20yrs ago my dr gave phentamine (sp) I had lots of energy but didn't lose a pound because even though it wasn't hungry, I was still doing my mindless eating.

Since I've hit menapause I'm not losing like I used to, I'm doing it much slower so I'll make the life style changes necessary to keep it off this time.

Good luck, it's a hard to lose weight and many of us know what you're feeling.
