I have lost 19 lbs since the first week of Feb. I had just been told that I had type 2 diabetes & my dr said to cut out white rice, white potatoes & bread. I was told that I had to watch my carbs, but I didn't get to see a nutritionist for a month to find out how many carbs I was allowed. So, without stressing too much but watching the amount of fat grams & counting my carbs I have dropped the weight & NOT been hungry! This is the easiest 'diet' or lifestyle change I have EVER been on. So, I am back to having bread, rice & potatoes - but in moderation. For the most part, I am keeping my carbs just below what the nutritionist said I could have (175-185) and I try to walk most days (dr prescribed 10 mi per wk) and its coming off. I have even found chips that I could have that were only 15-18 carbs per serving & have 5 grams of fiber. So I don't feel deprived at all - I can even have chocolate in moderation!
