I'm so sorry this happened to you too. I had this happen to a quilt I put together and I was so upset when I tried to join the sections together and they were completely wrong. In order to fix the pattern's mistake, I need to rip out every seam and cross seam of this quilt and make each 5" block 1/4" smaller. They should have said 4 3/4". But no, they said 5" charms would be perfect...which I used. They need to actually put together the whole quilt before selling the pattern. My quilt that had incorrect info in the pattern, is now sitting under my cutting table, in sections. I have no desire to rip out every seam and cut each piece smaller. There are hundreds of 5" charms. So, I wasted a lot of time and money that I can't get back and I'll never redo it.
