Thanks! I am keeping the Singer since it is a close friend of the family's grandmother's. Hubby fixed a board for me to cover the hole so I could fold out the table for my sewing space. I covered with fabric.
I already have some ideas of projects and hope to start them this week while my mom is in town.
I did have an issue today. I was trying the combo stitching and the fabric got jammed in the bobbin area. Then the needle broke.
But I got the fabric out and changed the needle (not sure how long that was in there) so I hope I am ready to get sewing soon.
