It is! The decals really came into their own after SST. It had more going on than it looked like. As the shellac went on, it just looked better and better...now if I could find a face cream that worked as well
I really can not tell the difference from how I remember the machine looked at the Turlock TOGA and the second photo. For me, it still just looks the same. So, I will just have to take your word that it is much better looking.
Since I don't like working with chemicals, I'll be skipping this process. For me, just the use of the sewing oil to pretty up the machine works well enough to make me happy. The costs is lots less too.
