I use the long tweezers too -- they are great for getting the lint out. I also use pipe cleaners and I ALWAYS clean under the bobbin case. I have never let my machine get that dirty -- I learned at my Mom's knee that if a machine is kept well cleaned and lubricated the machine will last forever.
