Did you have any aloe in the house, it is fantastic for burns. It use to be only in plant form but now you can buy it in a bottle, I keep it in the refrigerator so it is nice and cooling. My 10 yr old grandson burnt his finger on the filling from a pop tart and this kept it from blistering. We put it on his finger after we used ice for a while.
