Off Topic-went to JoAnn's yesterday...they were having 40 percent off of the quilting books...of course there was nothing stocked that wanted/needed and what I did want isn't around when there is a sale! Got my first spool of verigated thread which I can't wait to use....some cute FQ's....was suprised to see though that fabric was as high as 12.99 a yard there! Did get some cute patriotic decorations for 50 percent off!
I did well last week with the $5 off $25 coupon. Got lots of lace that was already on sale and bundled it into yardage that was around $25 and ended up cleaning out many of the bolts -- with an end of bolt discount, too! A lot of the quilting notions were 50% off, so I stocked up on those too for my SPs.
One unfortunate event with the laces ... DH and I saw several colors that looked really nice and picked them up ... and quickly put them down after we were COVERED WITH GLITTER!!!
