I haven't posted in a very long time
But... today I finished a quilt that begain in my mind 4 years ago. It's called Rockport Memories. Each appliqued square represents something from our Rockport, MA vacations. The beach pale and shovel are for Ari, my 5 year old GS and the Birthday cake is for Jonah, my GS who will turn 8 on our visit this year. Jonah has his birthday at the beach since he turned 4 - hence the 4 candles. The dog prints are our two dogs; Morgan and Spencer both 9 years old. The fish are for my husband - the ones he never catches. If you google "Rockport, MA" you can see pictures of the lovely town and the inspiration for the squares. Hope you enjoy. Oh, forgot the most important part! The quilt is to use on the beach!
