Thanks for the votes. I really do appreciate it so very much.

And now, as promised ... here are pix of the fabulous SP package I received from the very sweet OKsewnsew aka Jean.

Jean sent me the most adorable apron made from vintage hankies. It is so completely off the grid in fabulousness! When I wrote her, I told her that I was once very annoyed with my sister after I made her a special apron only to find that she decided to hang it on her kitchen wall as "art" instead of wearing it. Well, I'm about to do the same.
Jean and I had a good chuckle about the size of it -- MAYBE it would have fit me when I was 16 and a skinny stick of a girl. MAYBE.

She also sent a template set to make a Shining Stars Quilt in a Day. Well, I like the sound of that! It's something new to me and I'm really looking forward to trying it out. There were also two types of pins, binding clips (boy do I need those!), a seam ripper, the most luscious smelling and tasting tea with directions for brewing (most people really do not know how to make a proper cup of tea!), little crane scissors with a cute, cute, cute fob, gorgeous fuscia embroidery thread, and a big old spool of white embroidery thread which -- no foolin' -- I was about to shop for to make some little lace wedding thingies for Melissa.

The best part of the package was getting to know another quilter a little bit better. What a delight Jean is. I loved learning about her little group and their chattering like chipmunks. Oh how I wish we were all neighbors! What a lot of fun we'd have!

Thank you, Jean, for such a thoughtful and delightful package.
