About 8 years ago I joined a local WW group and lost 40 pounds over 8 years. It was a tough journey, but following the plan religiously, walking a lot, it was a steady loss. Since then I have started creeping up again, 20+ pounds from the goal I had reached and kept for years. Went back to another WW group for a year but just didn't have the same committment. You can do it if you are honest with yourself and stick to the plan. I think the meetings really helped me at the time. It's actually harder to keep it off than it was to lose it in the first place.
