This wasn't easy to do, as the pattern that we were following didn't have the correct fabric requirements listed. I was doing this entirely out of my stash & I really wanted to use that purple swirl, but didn't have enough of anything to match. When I got the center together on my design wall, I didn't care for it at all! But I had just enough of the purple swirl to do the pointed borders & I really liked the lighter purple for the outer edge, but until I got it all together wasn't sure if it would work. I'm so pleased with the outcome! I think the feathers will only enhance this quilt & can't wait to take the class!
