No, I put the correct needles in - no hitting - clears perfectly. But, without a bobbin case I won't know if the machine sews or not! I just checked Sew Classic - it appears the 306w has to have the open bobbin case!
Cathy, do you have one I could buy? I don't trust trying to buy one from anyone else in case it is advertised wrong! Looking at Sew Classic - it appears the 306w uses the open bobbin cases and the 306k the closed bobbin cases? Makes no sense to me.
