I am one of those that never wash fabric, so look at this mess. The blue border shrunk and pulled the whole quilt in. I was thinking the only way to fix would be to cut out the blue border and reattach the outside border to the purple inside border and do a kinda quilt as you go seam. I have used this batting (30 yd roll for my last 12 quilts, so I know it's not the batting. I thought the blue border fabric was really thin, but it is David's Textiles quilting cotton and came from LQS and thought it would be OK. The batiks in the center are from Connecting Threads and the big border batik came from Hancock here in town. The back is the same as the wide border and it is fine. Thanks for all the feedback and I will cut out the blue and reattach the wide border. Wish me luck and I will post when done.
