I am so sorry all your hard work went unappreciated! I think it is adorable. I understand your feelings. My grand daughter asked me to make a quilt for her first daughter (my first great grand daughter). She picked out the fabric, "signed off" on the pattern and never commented on it upon its finish. To this day, I've still never heard whether she liked it or uses it. I've never seen a picture of it in any she's taken. But the satisfaction I got from creating and making it, was my reward.
