I tried this method, but hubs got rather grumpy with me
for taking up so much room in the fridge with my "bags"
of fabric.

Back when I use to wash and iron ALL my fabric soon as
I brought it home (I don't anymore because there was
just to much). I would take up 1 to 2 shelves in the fridge.
Hence the reason I stopped.
