Before I acquired my 4'x8' table which I use to baste on now, I used to go to our local elementary school after hours (in the afternoon) and ask if I might use one or two of the cafeteria tables (pushed together). They were very obliging as it was a most unusual request. Sometimes, the staff would mosey in just to get a look at my work in progress and were very supportive and interested in my work.
