I worked in a butcher shop for many years, and yes, it's freezer and butcher paper, but beware. Some butcher paper does not have the slick, water repellant side to it. It's used to wrap meat that is pre-wrapped in a sheet of plastic wrap. It is not the same, and will not iron down to your fabric if it's not slick.
