When anything looks like that I always unthread my machine completely, including the bobbin. Check the bobbin area for lint and clean out that area. I reinsert the bobbin. Then I rethread the top thread of the machine. I find that it usually will correct the problem. But is I don't completely remove the thread it doesn't seem to work. Hope this helps.
