I don't have any special way of storing my fabric but I can attest to keeping it for long periods of time. I just finished a quilt where I used some fabric that I had stored for over 12 years. There was a lot of it (I don't even remember what I originally bought it for) and always thought it was too pretty to throw away. Didn't think I'd ever use it but low and behold this project came up and it was perfect and just the right amount of material. I probably paid about $2.00 a yard for it back then and it would probably cost me $10 now.
