One of my favorite Bargello quilt patterns is the one by Billie Lauder. Here's the link to an instructional video by her.

Her pattern is so quick and easy because the seam of one block meets the middle of the adjoining block--without the precision of matching seams, this is an excellent choice for a beginner.
