I made myself a couple of fleece glass cases. They were just a simple folded in half rectangle with a fancy stitch around the outside edge. They work really well for protecting my sunglasses in my purse and are soft enough to use to polish the glass when they get dusty. Fleece pieces work well for swifter cloths also. I made a couple for my DIL for picking up cat hair on the wood floors.
I've seen scarves made of squares of fleece done the rag quilt way. There is also a scarf where you overlap squares on the diagonal and machine sew down the center line. There is another where you cut them to look like a feather boa scarf. That's all I can think of right now.
