Pincushion makers
For those of you who make a lot of pincushions have you ever
used any of the emery sand (that keeps the pins and needles sharp)
in your pincushions?
I am wanting to try using the sand to and see how easy it is to
"fill" the cushions with and how I like working with it. Plus I want
to see if it will add some "weight" to keep them in an upright position.
Just curious of what you think about it if you have tried it.
I will be purchasing it from joggle.com when I do get the money to
buy it.
Also on the subject of pin cushions do you look at/for small things
that you can use as bases for pincushions?
I was browsing at a thrift store one and found some cute little "cups"
that I thought would be cute to use. I have 5 of them and they are about
1-1/2" high by 1-1/2" diam.
