hahahaha. Boy I'm enjoying these stories. grma33 never thought of us american as miracles but I do believe it is a miracle how some have survived as long as they have. My HD says god looks after fools and animals. lol.
As for me, used to believe the boogie man was real and lived in the outhouse at night and if I was on the porch he would surely get me.That was when I lived at grandmas and they lived a holler up in the hill in NC. so it was so dark you couldn't see anything. Also a bad witch lived in the tree outside the bedroom so I would hide under the sheets.
My kids also believed my dad when he gave them some small teeth (shark teeth ) and said they were chicken teeth. They are city boys hummm wonder if they still think that? They have never been around a live chicken before.
