Wink the best advertisment

Over 20 years ago while nursing my mother back to health, I got the quilting bug and in the six weeks I was with her made a twin size quilt with no destination in mind. It was my first attempt at quarter square rectangles, and I found seriously old army wool blankets at a thrift store for the center, so its a winter weight, and a sheet for the backing. It was so long ago I couldn't tell you what it looks like, and it was before I got smart enough to photograph my work. Yesterday my aunt who my mother more than suggested I donate it to called me. Seems she was washing the thing to put it up for the warm weather, and a woman it her complex questioned her on the particulars. When asked if I sold my work my aunt told her I sometimes take part in Baltimores, ArtScape which is held in July. I have been there once in 2007. The conversation ended with me giving my aunt my number so the woman may contact me directly. Might have a sale there, all because my aunt took great care of atwenty year old quilt.
I forgot to tell every one that I won a space in Janet Wickell-about.com quilting 2012 calender. I share the month of september. Its the quilt I picked as my avatar, which by the way is entirely quilted by ties. You can't beat a good word from a woman who don't like you and internet displays.
