I wrap mine in aluminum foil and put them in the recycle bin for aluminum/metal.
Our trash pick-up also picks up recycle every other week.
We have a special bin for it.
I write SHARP BLADE on the outside of the foil.
I try to use foil I have already used in cooking so its used twice.
