I'm the first to admit that I'm not the tidiest person but I have to keep my room fairly tidy because it is also my bedroom. If I clean up and put things back in their place it's not too bad but if I leave things laying around it soon ends up messy. I'm in the process of getting an allotted sewing space so hope I can keep it tidy as my friends will be coming to sew with me.
From your photos it looks like you could do with some plastic bins, especially the ones on wheels. I traded a friend some see through shoe boxes for sturdier plastic containers. I now use these for fabric and pattern for future quilts - one per box. I also use one to carry my latest project,especially when I go to my sewing group.
