I crochet as well as quilt and always have people say it's too pretty to use. I try to explain it's well made but they are afraid to use it. I've also encountered those who not only use but abuse the things I make. I always just try and let it go completely when I give it away. I do love seeing my stuff used though. It makes me feel good to know something I've made is keeping my older girls warm since I live 300 miles away.
